What it tracks

Filter. Eligible constituents backed by physical silver (metal = silver). Published only while N ≥ 2.

Weighting. Market-cap weighted (published iff N ≥ 2).

Silver-only sleeve of the GMRI universe. Currently two silver tokens (Kinesis KAG, Matrixdock XAGM). Mirrors TS-GMRI-AU symmetry under standard chemistry naming (AU/AG).

A pure-silver sleeve removes gold dominance and isolates silver as the second monetary metal. Replaces the former TS-GMRI-NONAU which mixed silver (monetary) with uranium (nuclear fuel) without coherent portfolio logic. Uranium token XU3O8 remains in the TS-GMRI primary universe; its future home is the TS-GMRI-CRT critical-minerals slot pending N≥3 eligible constituents.

The index is recomputed daily at 00:00 UTC from CoinGecko closing-day market caps. Let MC_i,t be the circulating market capitalisation of constituent i on day t, and MC_i,0 its value on the base date (22 June 2026, base value 100).

TS-GMRI-AG_t = 100 × ( Σ_i MC_i,t ) / ( Σ_i MC_i,0 )

Both cap-weighted and equal-weighted variants are rounded to 2 decimal places for display. New constituents are chained in at the next monthly review using a continuity multiplier so the historical series is not distorted. The full rules are fixed in the methodology document below.
