What it measures
How much silver sits inside tokens, compared with two yardsticks that The Silver Institute already publishes: identifiable silver bullion inventories and one year of world mine production. It is a scale yardstick, not a balance sheet.
Silver in tokens. Silver tokens: market capitalisation divided by the LBMA silver price of the same day. One troy ounce = 31.1034768 g.
Updates. A new edition from The Silver Institute applies from its publication date; earlier values are not rewritten.
