What Makes Us Unique

TrueSource Metals is not the biggest metals glossary in the world — the U.S. Bureau of Mines Dictionary of Mining, Mineral and Related Terms (1968) carried ~55,000 entries. We are not the biggest crypto glossary either — CoinMarketCap Academy and Crypto.com Glossary are larger in pure crypto coverage.

What we are is the first independent reference layer specifically for tokenized metals. Seven publicly verifiable firsts are listed below. Every claim links to its on-site proof and to the primary source it rests on.

1. TS-GMRI^™ family — first published-methodology index family for tokenized metals

The first transparent, methodology-published index family covering the tokenized metals market: 19 members across precious, base, battery, PGM, royalty-streamer, ETF-wrapper, and tolling slots. We do not claim to be the largest by raw count — the USGS Bureau of Mines 1968 dictionary held ~55,000 metals entries, and CoinMarketCap / Crypto.com hold more crypto entries. 8. What we do not claim

Honesty rule: superlatives we have seen claimed elsewhere and explicitly do not claim for ourselves:

• Largest metals glossary in absolute count. USGS Bureau of Mines 1968 (~55,000 terms) wins on raw count. We win on cross-domain + primary-source URLs.
• Largest crypto glossary in absolute count. CoinMarketCap Academy and Crypto.com Glossary carry more pure-crypto entries. We win on metals adjacency.
• Largest producers directory. Industry trade publications and Mining-Technology cover more company entries. We focus on the top tier with annual-report sourcing and full metal-mix disclosure.
• Real-time market data. All prices are typically delayed and reference-grade, not execution-grade. For trading, use a regulated venue feed.
